Transpek Industry Ltd.

Transpek Industry Limited was set up in 1965 to make transparent acrylic sheets, which gave it its name. It has since become a leading manufacturer and exporter of chemicals for textiles, pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals and polymers.

With expertise in chlorine and sulphur chemistry, it developed processes for thionyl chloride and chloroacetyl chloride, and is the largest producer of thionyl chloride and acid chlorides in Asia outside Europe.
