About Monsanto India
Monsanto India Limited (MIL), a subsidiary of Monsanto Company USA, was the only publicly listed Monsanto entity outside the USA, with more than six decades in India.
It focused on maize (Dekalb®, India's largest-selling hybrid maize brand) and Roundup® glyphosate herbicide. Following Bayer's acquisition of Monsanto, MIL was merged into Bayer CropScience India in 2019.
